Ebicys signs reseller agreement with Business Intelligence vendor Yellowfin

By James Polasek and Lachlan James

Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) consulting and services provider, EBICYS, has signed a reseller agreement with global BI and analytics software vendor, Yellowfin.

The newly formed partnership will see Ebicys – based in Santiago, Chile – provide Yellowfin’s easy-to-use BI solution, and associated suite of professional services, to its clients throughout Latin America.

Ebicys’ Commercial Manager, Pablo Araus, said the agreement would help its clients realize the power of pervasive BI deployments.

“Our mission is to help our customers capitalize on one of their most important assets – their data. Yellowfin’s ease-of-use, implementation and cost effectiveness make widespread BI deployments, and successful end-user adoption, possible.”

Consultancy Manager at Ebicys, George Jovanovic, said that Yellowfin’s BI solution was carefully selected based on its leading blend of technical features as well as balance between self-service and powerful reporting capabilities.

“At Ebicys, we believe that BI should be highly intuitive, enabling business users to independently explore their data to make the best decisions possible,” said Jovanovic. “But, we also know that ease-of-use shouldn’t be a compromise. Yellowfin’s BI solution combines an agile self-service tool our customers love, with the world-class product features they expect.”

With many organizations employing increasingly mobile and geographically dispersed workforces, Jovanovic singled out Yellowfin’s ability to deliver reporting and analytics to any mobile device as a particularly important technical capability.

“Yellowfin enables our clients to access, share and act on their important business data anywhere and anytime from any mobile device – via browser-based delivery and native applications for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Yellowfin is making Mobile BI easy.”

Yellowfin CEO, Glen Rabie, said that the partnership would further the reputations of both organizations.

“Ebicys understands the importance of enabling its clients, big or small, to make better, faster fact-based decisions with ease – and Yellowfin can help them achieve that goal,” said Rabie. “Ebicys’ reputation and consumer-oriented approach to business analytics will ensure that Yellowfin can meet market demand, throughout Chile and Latin America more broadly, for next-generation BI.”
