Server Cores in licence screen

I've been asked what the server cores field is used for in the licence screen - can someone please explain what it is for.

Hi Brendon,
The server cores parameter is only used for a special 'Server Core' licence type.
If you do not know what this licence is, it means you don't have one.
For more information on this licence type, and pricing etc.. you will need to query sales@yellowfin.bi.
Just let them know "it's for a special licence type which bases the number of users against what the server can handle".
