This Ward Benchmarks dashboard shows regularly updated crime statistics for the City of Chicago, comparing crime rates by ward against the prior year.
Operational Dashboard
Design Canvas: This dashboard is pixel-perfect and built upon a free-form design canvas, meaning besides reports and charts, you can overlay canvas widgets next to and on top of each other — icons, shapes, text and images — to create beautiful, design-led dashboards.
Filter Panels: You can place filter panels anywhere on your dashboards. For this dashboard, the filter panel is placed on the canvas itself, on the top right. Select a ward and see all of the content refresh immediately.
Text Parameters: You can include dynamic text on your dashboards that change according to available report data and/or filter selections. This is supported with the usage of text parameters within the report itself. Try it — select a ward on the filter panel and see how some text widgets within the dashboard refresh according to your selection.
Custom Chart Colors: You can apply custom color palettes on your charts and even have highlighted values — filtered Wards, in this example — colored differently compared to other values.
Tooltips: Hover your cursor over chart data to highlight specific metrics or categorical data. Chart colors applied to your metrics are also shown in the tooltip itself, helping you quickly understand what is being highlighted.
