Guided NLQ enables any user to type any question into the question bar in natural, everyday language without needing to follow syntax rules, or to know the exact names of the columns containing the data they need. Simply click ‘AI-Enabled’ and AI will automatically generate the correct syntax on the user’s behalf to build their question and generate an answer instantly. It’s that easy.

Don’t know what to ask? Click the Suggested Questions button, located in the top right-hand corner of the Guided NLQ user interface, will use AI NLQ to automatically generate a list of useful questions to ask, based on the meta-data setup for the underlying data set. When a user clicks a suggested question, it will automatically load it to the Question Bar, where it can be run as is, or be further modified, depending on user requirements.
Ask from within Yellowfin or anywhere
With Guided NLQ, ask questions anywhere within the Yellowfin platform, or embed it into any software application or web page to deliver true self-service reporting to end users. Once the answer to the data query is generated, any user can quickly and easily create analytic content by importing Guided NLQ’s results into a Yellowfin dashboard, Presentation or Story.
