Data collection and organizational culture crucial for achieving pervasive BI

Yellowfin CEO and cofounder, Glen Rabie, has discussed the key drivers making widespread Business Intelligence (BI) deployments a reality at the ICT Business Breakfast in Johannesburg, hosted by ITNewsAfrica and sponsored by Yellowfin.

In an interview with ITNewsAfrica, Rabie cited the proliferation of BI professionals, emergence of transformational technologies (such as Apple’s iPad), as well as the need to establish robust data collection processes, and an organizational culture conducive to transparent analytical decision-making, as critical factors necessary for achieving pervasive BI rollouts.
