Sherwin Lake Group adds Yellowfin Business Intelligence to cloud analytics platform
Global Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics software vendor, Yellowfin, has signed a reseller agreement with US BI, analytics, data integration and data warehouse consultancy, Sherwin Lake Group.
The partnership agreement authorizes the Chicago-based cloud analytics specialist to offer Yellowfin’s business-user-oriented BI solution, and associated suite of professional services, to its current and future customers throughout the US.
Sherwin Lake Group will deliver Yellowfin as a standalone BI tool via the cloud, as a fully managed and hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, and as part of its ‘Infrastructure as a Service’ (IaaS) offering – a multitenant cloud-based analytics platform that bundles database (Redshift), ETL (Hadoop-based technologies) and BI (Yellowfin) technology together on a subscription basis via Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Sherwin Lake Group President, Kevin Remmert, said that Yellowfin’s ease-of-use, combined with its product and licensing flexibility, were crucial determining factors in the partnership decision.
