Export / Import related reports in other client orgs

Hi,
Suppose there is a report on a client org. and it has a related report from default org. As per my experience, when you export the report, the related report will not be bundled in the XML as the relate report sits in a separate client org. And when ultimately re-imported the XML the related report links will be omitted as they are not found in the XML.
Is there a way to over come this?
Simply what I want is to be able to export reports where there are related reports from other client orgs and import them without breaking any linkage.
I'm currently using Application Version: 7.1 Build: 20160728.

Thanks for sending in the question (it's a good one!).
What you are describing is accurate, when you export a client org report that contains a related report that lives in the default org the related report is stripped from the client org report when the report is exported.
I'm actually not sure if this is expected behavior or not, so I'm running this one by our dev's to see what they think. As soon as I receive some more information I will be sure to update this post.
