Google Maps. What is the right format for longitude/latitude?

Hi
Do you have any documentation on how to use/configure mapping charts in yf?
Quickly tried to add long and lat columns to a table and tried to create a google map, but I can?t get yf to select my fields (the longitude and latitude drop-downs are empty). I tried several format of longitude / latitude (118.51W/34.41N, 34.410000, -118.510000) as well as trying to change the column datatype from varchar to decimal, but nothing worked.

We do have documentation on using maps, I can email this to you if you send me your email address (just email support@yellowfin.com).
The only reasons why these fields could not be selected, is that they are Dimensions, not metrics.
What database are you using, and what are the column types?
Also what are the field data types within Yellowfin?
Can you please send screenshots of these settings.
