Out of Memory error when exporting to Excel

Hi,
I have a fairly large report (36405 rows, 30 fields, 8.6Mb in text format) that generates an error as follows when trying to export to Excel
Is there anything I can do to remedy this? or is there a way to disable the Excel download for this report.
I would agree that such a large report isn't a great idea but this is for generating a mailing list and hence isn't really a display type report and no practical way of reducing the size.

Hi Robin,
To try to remedy this you could try increasing the JVM Max Memory (http://www.yellowfinbi.com/YFForum-JVM-Max-Memory-?thread=90378).
Could you try this and see if it helps with the export?

Increased max from 256 to 512 Mb and was able to run report.
Is there anyway to disable certain export formats for certain reports e.g. only allow download by pdf but not excel to prevent easy messing with data.

Hi Robin,
Yes it is possible to disable certain export formats.
If you go to administration>Role Management>click on the role and then under "general" you can select which formats you want available for exporting.
