Allowing for drill down and drill through functionality

It would be great within the report builder to allow for drill down functionality for the user within a hierarchy and then allow the user to drill through to a detailed report.
For example drill down via the different levels within an organisational hierarchy and then drill through to list out employees within the lower level organisational unit

and reviewed.
What you have outlined has been brought up and recommended in
the past. An outstanding enhancement request (108950) exists but to
date it hasn't made it to the Dev table.
