broadcast – dynamic email subject?
3 November, 2010
Is there anyway to have a dynamic element to the subject of a broadcast email?
I want to set up a broadcast which has filters driven from another report which will result in a large number of emails.
The problem is that it is impossible to identify which email has which report without something like one of the filter values in the email subject.
Is this possible?
Thanks.

Hi Miranda,
We currently don't have this funtionality.
Though I think you could manage to do this if you were to create; multiple copies of the report you would like to distribute, seperate groups (for each email distribution)
You could then distribute each report to each group, and change the subject on each distribution.
Though this will be a lot of work, and duplicating.
I will raise your request as an enhancement request and hopefully we could find a way to implelement this in a future build.
Regards,
David

any chance this has been added in yet?
Hi,
The task ID for this enhancement is 100216, which will make it easier to track in to the future.
Unfortunately, this has not been scheduled for implemenation as yet, and is currently marked as unplanned.
