Broadcast not getting deleted when a client org is deleted from the app

Hi,

We have deleted one client org from the Yellowfin application but we still noticed that Broadcast that are set in the client org are still running. We noticed this from Yellowfin logs. Why would broadcast still run when the client org itself is deleted. Now how we will stop this broadcast as this is consuming unnecessary resource.

We are using Yellowfin 7.1 Nov patch.

Please let us know how to fix this issue asap.

Thanks,
Dhrati
Hello Dhrati,

Thank you for posting your question on the forum.

Can we get some additional information from you?

- Where are the reports that are still being Broadcast located? E.g. Default org?
Another client org, or were they deleted too?
- How many reports are being Broadcast?

These Broadcasts should be listed under the Administration > Schedule Management
page and you should be able to delete the Broadcast there.

If these Broadcast are happening on reports that have been Deleted then we will
need to get some some other info from you.

Thank you,

Kyle

Hi Kyle,

As per the YF 7.1 Nov patch Broadcast status can be checked only in the respective client org for which it is set , we can not check the status in Default org and so we are not able to identify what all broadcast were present for the deleted client orgs.

Note: Since we have deleted the client org we are not sure whether the reports got deleted or not which were present in that client org.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this.

Hoping to here from you soon..

Thanks,
Dhrati

Hi Dhrati,

could you please email us the data from your Organisation table and also your TaskSchedule table, and also tell us the name of the deleted client organisation.

Don't forget to reference the subject of this forum post.

Dave
