Can I access data through Rest API?

wondering if I can access through rest API? I have an application which exposes Rest API, would like to directly call the api and load the data into Yellow fin? Is this possible? what are the possible workaround

yes you are correct, at the moment there is no Yellowfin REST API, however, it may interest you to know that with the forthcoming release of Yellowfin 7.2 you will be able to use 3rd party connectors for projects such as you are hoping to undertake.
