Chart not showing in side navigation for Multi-chart canvas

I'm trying to have two charts show based off the same report using the multi-chart function. I've created both charts and in the output step I can't see both charts in the left side navigation bar. All I see is the first chart I created and not the other. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Just an update to this. I've tried all different chart styles and connections to different data sources and I seem to face the same problem no matter what I do. I can build 10 charts using the same report and I'll only see the first chart in the multi-chart selection area in the multi-chart canvas.
