Unfortunately you can't remove column display names entirely. However, you could format column display names as "_" or "." which could be less obtrusive options. See below for an example:









I was a little confused by your initial post because initially I thought you were referring to report headers and footers. If you are indeed talking about headers and footers, here are a couple links from our wiki that outline how to configure them:
