Filter Report from 1st of Month to End of Month

For our Dashboard KPI's and a number of other reports, I need to set a date filter to go from the 1st to the End of Month. How do you accomplish this when setting up filters for a report?

For Report filters you can use the Pre-Defined Date Periods, This Month to select the current month start and end dates.

Hi,
Yes, if you make the filter 'user-entry' and select the drop down type to 'pre-defined date period' , the user can choose any date period.
