Connecting your mobile device to Yellowfin is actually pretty easy, given that you know the connection settings, and your device can actually get to your Yellowfin server.

It�s important to note that the mobile app does not store any data on the mobile device. It will simply view Yellowfin content that is created on the Yellowfin server.
If you have not yet installed Yellowfin on a server, you will need to use our demo instance.

A connection to the demo instance already comes with the mobile app, so you won�t need to set this up.



Before downloading the application for either Apple or Android, it�s important to ensure your mobile device can connect to your Yellowfin server.

To do this, open up any browser on your mobile device, and enter the Yellowfin URL
E.g. http://Davids-Macbook-Pro:8080 or http://10.10.6.23:8080
