Proxy error when importing reports.xml
14 January, 2011
1) Exported reports and dashboard from Public (default) org into XML file
2) Login to client org Admin and Import XML file
3) File is parsed correctly but after processing the import the following is displayed
URL: http://reveal-reporting.majitek.com/MIAdminImportSummary.i4
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /MIAdminImportSummary.i4.
Reason: Error reading from remote server
Apache/2.2.15 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.15 OpenSSL/1.0.0a DAV/2 Server at reveal-reporting.majitek.com Port 80
No reports or dashboards are imported.
I'm just getting the log file to attach to the issue.
Cheers
Mark

The XML included seven reports and a dashboard. When I imported them in two batches, half then the other half, the import was successful.
Hi Mark,
I have done some more testing on this, and I haven't reproduced this issue.
Can you give me a little information on the report definitions.
Are these reports fairly large in size?
Do these reports contain calculated fields, custom queries, sub-queries etc..?
Thanks,
David
