YF 5.2 – broken image on report data screen
13 June, 2011
Hi,
Upgraded my YF 5.1 installation to YF 5.2 using same database and schema.
When I go into report builder the images for fields are broken as per the following screenshot
Note that as soon as I add a calculation the images are correct. Doing an inspect element using Chrome the image element for the broken image is as follows...
This problem is not affecting anything further.
regards
Robin

Hi,
We have seen similar issues to this before as a result of not clearing the cache after a upgrade. Could you try clearing the cache to see if that resolves the issue?

Steven

Hi Steven,
Have cleared cache (on Chrome and IE9) and restarted YF service but the problem persists.

Hi Robin,
When upgrading did you choose ?apply new styles?, also would it be possible for you to try a new installation of 5.2 to see if the issue still occurs?

Steven

Hi Steven,
Can't remember if I did or not as it was on a dev box so didn't bother too much with paying attention :-)
Just did a fresh install into a new database and directory on a new port and the problem is still there.
cheers

Hi Robin and Grant,
Are either of you able to reproduce this issue when using the ski-team(tutorial) database to build the reports?

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the information.
It seems we have managed to reproduce this in one of our test environments, it?s now a matter of finding out why only in certain environments.
We?ll get back to you as soon as we have more information, though this should be identified and fixed in time for the next build (which will be released at the end of the month).
Regards,
David
