YF DB name
15 October, 2015
I have two different YF installed on my machine and I cant remember where did I install them.I need to look into the web.xml and find out the YF DB backup name.
I have opened YF software and check:
Administration - General_ system Information- System properties - catalina.home -->: /opt/yellowfin63_asprod/appserver
I have checked there and I could find the web.xml but the problem is that those two YF instance with different URL pointing to the same folder.
I don't believe two YF instances pointing to one YF DB.
I am wondering how to find out which DB my YF is connected.Thanks

Hi Guest,
Thanks for posting the question.
You can find your Yellowfin Database name by using the following steps.
1. Navigate to your Yellowfin instance in explorer.
2. Now go to "appserver/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF"
3. Open the file "web.xml" in a text browser and look for the following line.
4. In that string, is the database name. I've highlighted the database name in my string below.
I hope this helps.
If you have any questions let me know.
Kind Regards,
Cadell.
