Your session has timed out – please logon again

Hi,

I've yellowfin integrated as iframe in my web application (using web services for getting User Session). Once i login into web application, im able to see yellowfin dashboard screen ..once i clicked on any link (say for ex. reports list) its redirecting to ' Your session has timed out - please logon again' page. please help me to resolve this.

in yellowfin.log file i see this ..

FYI, Im made DNS server, my web app and yellowfin app running on HTTPS.
Hi,

To start trouble-shooting this could you please try logging directly into Yellowfin (i.e. without using your application's login functionality) and see if you have the same problem.

Also, could you try turning off HTTPS and see if that helps.

And also could you please attach a screenshot of your licence details, you can either get them directly from Admin->General->Licence Details, or if that's not possible then by using the info.jsp page which you can access like this:

http://:/info.jsp.
(e.g. http://localhost:4141/info.jsp)

I am looking forward to learning the outcomes of these steps.

Thanks for reply David. Since DNS always runs on HTTPS i've made my app and yellowfin also running on HTTPS, because i faced lot of Cross-browser/Cross-site issues. And FYI, HTTP also failed. But, if i login into yellowfin directly its working fine.
