Prometheus signs Business Intelligence partnership agreement with Yellowfin

Leading provider of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to Australia’s health and education sectors, Prometheus Information, has signed an ISV partnership agreement with Australian based BI vendor, Yellowfin.

Under the agreement, Prometheus has embedded Yellowfin in its solution stack, to complement its existing OLAP and reporting technologies, and to enable it to develop and implement more comprehensive vertical specific BI solutions.

Co-founder and head of software development at Prometheus, Dr. Daryel Akerlind, said Prometheus decided to partner with Yellowfin after undertaking an extensive review of globally available reporting and dashboard technologies.

“Yellowfin consistently came through as the most visionary, technically capable, and easy-to-use reporting and dashboard solution in our chosen markets,” said Akerlind. “Yellowfin was the standout technology best able to meet the needs of our clients and complement our existing reporting solutions.”

Speaking about the newly formed partnership, co-founder and head of statistical consultancy at Prometheus, Dr. George Preston, said that he was confident in the longevity of the Yellowfin – Prometheus partnership.
