Under the partnership, PIKON will be permitted to deliver Yellowfin’s business-user-oriented BI solution, and associated professional services, to its current and future clients throughout Germany, Belgium and the UK. PIKON is headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, with affiliate operations in Belgium and the UK.
PIKON Head of BI, Stefanie Lenz, said that Yellowfin’s emphasis on self-service reporting and Collaborative BI were important factors in the partnership decision.
“Business user enablement and fast return on investment are two driving factors in today’s Business Intelligence industry,” said Lenz. “Yellowfin has been following that end-user-centric path for quite a long time, resulting in sophisticated and well-engineered BI software that is easy-to-use for business users and administrators alike.
“Yellowfin is the ideal solution for PIKON’s customers, with a strong focus on self-service reporting and collaborative decision-making, who want to save time and money on implementation and training expenditure. Yellowfin delivers an excellent value-for-money-ratio.”
PIKON Senior BI Consultant, Oliver Dworschak, said that Yellowfin’s ability to empower end-users to independently access and act on BI-based insights would enable PIKON to generate more business directly from specific business units.
“Yellowfin can help PIKON’s customers – especially those with a strong focus on self-service BI for line-of-business users – to get the most out of their data by sharing and interpreting figures in a highly flexible collaborative environment,” said Dworschak.
Yellowfin Managing Director for EMEA, Peter Baxter, said that PIKON’s customer-first philosophy and sustainable approach to business growth were strategies that made it an attractive reseller partner.
“With deep expertise and experience delivering best practice Business Intelligence projects, combined with resources spread across Germany, Belgium and the UK, PIKON will help bolster Yellowfin’s reputation and presence throughout Germany and across Europe,” said Baxter.
