import/export error due to not existing filter

dear all,

I'm trying to migrate some reports from a test environment to the live envirnoment (both in 7)

I export a report to XML and tried to import in the new one, but the system prompt me the following error: "The filter IncidenzaScadereSuEsposizione is not valid."

the point is that, in the original report, I do not have such a filter. I do not have neither columns or calculated fields named like this. I checked in the view but I still not found that filter.

I may imagine it's something created for a test or whatever and then deleted..I really do not know, but the question is, how to fix it?

please not that I'm sure (from a previous massive export) that I have several reports in the same situacion (may be because I probably created several reports starting from a copy of the same originating documents).

thanks a lot in advance
Ok, I got the explanation and a time consuming workaround.

I made a copy of the report and export it.
In the report I've 3 existing filters
in the XML I found 3 filters, but one of them consider as columnname the not existing field shown in the error (see previous post).
I deleted all the filters and the export/import was ok. I may imagine that deleting just the wrong one it may work the same.

point now may see: how to do a massive correction?if I do not have this chance, I may need to work on several report deleting/recreating filters...

thanks a lot
Solved by changing manually the tag of column name in each xml involved.
Hi Mattia,

Glad you got it resolved, that is going to be the only way to get around this.

If the export was built at a time which is not compatible with the new system, you have to find a way to make changes to that it all matches.

Sorry for the bad news, it's just how the import works .

Regards,
David
