SSRS linked report performance

Operating System: Windows Server 2012 6.2 (amd64)
We have a development server and a production server.
We are experiencing slow performance of SSRS reports in YF production compared to running reports directly via SSRS url on same server. Or even faster in YF development server when both servers are pointing to same instance of SSRS.
Would be expecting YF production to be as quick as develop YF.
Is there some settings that might need to be changed to improve YF production response time?
