Yellowfin part of “the New Magnificent Seven of Visualization”: Blue Hill Research

CEO of Blue Hill Research, Ralph Rodriguez, has penned a blog that labels Yellowfin as one of the Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics industry’s most promising data visualization platforms.

Rodriguez’s article, It’s Time to Look Past QlikTech to the New Magnificent Seven of Visualization, reports that Yellowfin “offers formidable social, mobile, and user interface capabilities” and that its “social capabilities for sharing information within a social stream is also a trendsetter in the BI community.”

In particular, Rodriguez noted that Yellowfin’s release of Storyboard enhanced its status as a leader in Collaborative BI, providing “a PowerPoint-like experience for users to present their charts and dashboards easily and quickly.”

Rodriguez concludes his critique of Yellowfin, stating “In short, to see what is next in the world of social, mobile, and web-based visualization at the enterprise, take a look at Australia’s Yellowfin.”
