Automatically Refresh Cache Filters for all reports

Hi,
We have cached filters for several reports on several dashboards. However, when we add an additional entry in the database, it doesn't show until we manually refresh the cache filters for each report, using the 'Refresh Cached Filters' button under the filter list.
Is there any way we can automate this? or is there anyway to just refresh all the cache values for a view together?

Hi Asif,
The only way to automatically refresh filter caching would be to assign a schedule to it.
Unfortunately there is not option to refresh all cached filters at once, but if they are scheduled you can just re-run the schedule to update the filter values.
There is however an existing enhancement request (TASK # 146673) for this feature to be considered for a future release.

HI Has this functionality made its way into 7.1? If not please can you bump "auto-refresh filters as a global setting" up the priority list? Many users would love to see this.

no, this enhancement request hasn't been implemented yet. Your best bet to try and bump it up the priority list would be to discuss this with your Yellowfin account manager - the support team don't have any influence in that realm.
