Filter “Not In List” only recognises one selected item in list

I have a report with a filter that is "Not in List". The list of items is displayed correctly, but when multiple items are selected from the list, only the first is recognised.
If I change it to "In List", multiple selections are recognised.
Hi,

I'm not able to reproduce this issue over here. As an example here is a report with no filtering to show you the full data set:

and now the report is filtered using multiple selections with a Not In List filter operator:

Could you please tell me what version and build of Yellowfin this issue is occurring in? And also, what the source database is?

Regards,
Dave
Hi Dave,

We are using version 6.0, Build: 20111219

Sorry I haven't replied earlier _ I'm not sure how to create a login for this forum so I can receive email updates.

Gerri
Also, what is the source database?
Hi Gerri,

sorry for the confusion about the terminology, I was using the term source database to try and differentiate the database your reports are based on from the Yellowfin configuration database that stores the application metadata, some people might also refer to it as the Data Warehouse perhaps.

The Yellowfin version 6.0 is not supported anymore, and in fact, at the end of this year version 6.1 will also not be supported. This is because the support terms are for the current version and the 2 previous ones, so with the release of version 7.0 very soon the 2 previous are 6.3 and 6.2. What this means is that any bugs found in the unsupported version will not be fixed in the unsupported version, however if the same bugs has carried on into a supported version then it will be fixed there.

Are you considering upgrading to a more recent version of Yellowfin as I certainly didn't find the "Not In List" issue in 6.3?

regards,
Dave
