Hide a filter in a report

Hi,
I am trying to hide a filter with a predefined value from the viewer of a report.
What I did was prefine the filter
Set the display filter option to "no"
But the filter still remains in the report.
Is this working as is or am I doing the wrong thing in order to hide a filter from the report.

Hi Nick,
When you using a user-prompt filter, this always gives the user the option to change the selection.
In your case you should not be using a user-prompt filter and can be changed at the filter setup page (see below):

on the same issue , we need to hide a filter
but at the same time to drilltrough with parameters to that
filter
is this possible?
