How do I create Date parameter filter in MM/dd/yyy format
5 September, 2012
My requirement is very simple, I just want user to input date using calender but in MM/dd/yyyy format.
I mean after selecting appropriate date from calender the entered date should look like 12/31/2012.
I have tried setting desired format by:
1) Selecting format as "Date" Instead of "Timestamp"
2) Selecting "others" in dateformat so that I can enter my custom format
3) Then entered MM/dd/yyyy in custom field.
4) Save.

Hi,
you can change the date from UK to US format in the Configuration screen's Regional Settins:
and also in My Profile (this overrides the Regional Settings):

One more Question, Can we set Input date format for each report seperately, for eg:

b) For Report 2 --> Day/Month/year
c) For Report 3 --> year/Month/Day
Thanks

Hi,
no, there are two available levels to set the input date format, there is the application level where you can set the date format throughout the application, then, a user may override that setting by having his/her own date format preference configured in the My Profile-Preferences->Date Format section.

David
